AIESEC TUC Induction Conference 2008 - TRANSFORM!

Woke up at 6 in the morning feeling darn excited. Left home at 7am, went to pick Dede and Yin Fei from Sunway and Jin from her house. Met up with Xinyi and Kim at main campus and we went to Nasi Kandar Utara to meet up with the rest. Had breakfast and I spilled my cup of MILO. Clumsy. Overexcited. Haha. Changed into my extra pants and Vincent's AIESEC shirt. Went back to main campus at 8am to prepare the tables and chairs for the reception. 8.30am, reception was ready and registration started. While delegates stood outside the venue waiting, the facis were in the hall preparing for the warm welcome. At 9am, our event officially started. The rest was a long day with full of fun and laughter. (:

Now, let the photos do the talking.

While delegates were waiting OUTSIDE the hall...

...this was what's happening INSIDE the hall.

9am, welcoming the delegates.

The facis did their dance.

Chairperson: Cecilia, introducing the faci team.

Ice breaking game: Hit You. William demonstrating.

Second ice breaking game: Guess What.
Facis for ice breaking session: Mann Dee and Ka Wei.

The facis announced a surprise and asked for the OC team to get up on stage to play Guess What. Cecilia, Mann Dee and Ka Wei got dragged into the game too.

OC team with William and Cecilia.

Square dance!

The crowd was very participative. (: I like!

During World Mamak!

Jo Ee sharing his views.

Kevin and his "patch of grass".

Rustisha!

Exchange breakthrough. Merlyna's sharing session.

Another square dance!

OC Team (Jo Ee, Jin, me) syok sendiri!

EBs.

OC Team after the event.

Everything turned out well and right on schedule. Ended at 6pm with sharing session and a slide show; compilation of the photos taken throughout the day (by Daniel, great job!) Also watched the video recordings. After the event, we went for dinner at AC and did a post-mortem. Realized that there is plenty of room for improvement. Nevertheless...

*P/S: Please don't sue me for posting up your pictures without permission. :P

...for all the smiles... (:
