Toastmasters Workshop

Dear all

There will not be an AG next week as we are preparing for this!

Date: 8^th September (Monday)

Time: 4.00 – 6.00 pm

Venue: Room 7.28 (TBS Building)

We will be conducting a public speaking workshop alongside a distinguished Toastmaster. Toastmasters International (TI) is a non-profit educational organization that operates clubs worldwide for the purpose of helping members improve their communication, public speaking and leadership skills. Through its thousands of member clubs, Toastmasters International offers a program of communication and leadership projects designed to help men and women learn the arts of speaking, listening, and thinking (Wikipedia, 2008).

Induction Camp

Induction camp is the first step for most new members to kick start their AIESEC journey. Through this camp, you would get to know more about AIESEC and the various opportunities it offers. There will also be sessions to challenge your mind and your stand (what we call the world mamak) and also a session to learn more about AIESEC's International Exchange Program. This one-day camp equips you with the basic knowledge of AIESEC, a must for one who would like to go on Exchange.

Senior members are more than welcome to join us, perhaps get to know our newer members and share your wonderful experiences. Why not build and expand your network? It would be a day to make personal connections along with lots of fun! Hesitate no further. There will be professional speakers for all of the categories and speakers from Microsoft are coming!!

After the Workshop, There will be a competition to utilize knowledge learnt in the Workshop to design advertisements in two different categories, PRINTED/MULTIMEDIA. So you will have approximately 2 weeks to prepare!

This project is open to local undergraduates of public and private higher education and anybody is welcomed to join!!

The PRICES are reasonable too!

(1) Those who need accommodation will be charged RM55

(2) Those who does not need accommodation will be charged RM50

(3)Those who come in 10 people will have a discount of RM5
